Sweet Rice Balls (Andressay ki Goliyan) is a traditional sweet highly appreciated in Pakistan and India. Combination of rice flour and sugar syrup and rolling on sesame develops a nice taste.

  • Rice flour 2 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Water ½ cup
  • Baking soda a pinch
  • Sesame as required
  • Oil as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Add ½ cup water in sugar and cook for 8 minutes for making the sugar syrup.

  2. Add lemon juice then add sugar syrup in rice flour.

  3. Add baking soda and kneads well.

  4. Keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Then make like a roll and roll out on sesame seeds and make small balls.

  6. Finally, heat oil and fry these balls on medium flame.

  7. Sweet rice balls are ready to serve.
