Ingredients

  • Fish (surmai) 1 kg
  • Tamarind plup 1/2 cup
  • Chilli flakes 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Dill seed (roasted+ground) 1tsp
  • Cumin seed (roasted + ground) 1/2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Oil for frying
  • For Batter:
  • Cornflour 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Gram flour 4 tbsp
  • Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Dill seed (roasted + grind) 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seed (roasted + grind) 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash fish put salt, chilli flakes, dill seed, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, tamarind plup and egg mix well and marinate.

  2. For batter:In a bowl put cornflour, salt, gram flour, red chilli flakes, black pepper, dill seed, cumin seed mix well.

  3. Take a piece of fish roll it in dry ingredients and deep fry till golden brown.

  4. Serve hot with dips and salad.
