Soak the rajma overnight and pressure cook it.
In a pan mix the boiled rajma, water, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, whole green chilly and little salt and boil. Heat oil.
Add cumin seeds, cloves and black cardamom.
Saute till they crackle Now add the chopped onion.
Saute till the onions turn brownish.
Add to this the chopped ginger and chopped garlic.
Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and little salt to taste.
Add a little bit of water and the tomatoes.
Add a pinch of sugar let tomatoes cook and then add the green chillies and some coriander leaves.
Add this spice mix to the rajma.
Add butter and curd.
Mix them well with the rajma.
