  • Maash Daal (Black gram split & skinned) 1/2 kg
  • Whole red chillies 6-8
  • Pounded chillies 1 tsp
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 50g
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 1 pao (250g)
  • Green chillies 4-6
  • Julien ginger for garnish
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak pulse for 25 minutes then medium boil.

  2. Heat oil add tomatoes and cook till soften add ginger garlic paste and fry.

  3. Now add  butter, red chillie powder, turmeric, salt, red whole chillies, 2 green chillies and cook .

  4. Add all spices powder green chillies, julien ginger mix well and cover let it steam.

  5. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with naan.
