Soak figs in 3 cups of water for 3-4 hours.
Boil them in the same water in which they were soaked, for 3-5 minutes.
Take the pan off the heat, drain the figs and cool slightly.
Reserve some figs and puree the rest.Chop the reserved figs.
Chop dates roughly and soak in 2 cups hot water for 15-20 minutes.Drain Puree.
Mix the 2 purees and add skimmed milk powder.Mix well and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Add the chop figs and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.Serve garnish with almost silvers.

I modified this recipe by using fresh riped figs (anjeer) and instead of milk powder, I used whole milk (1/2 liter) condensed to half the volume. It turned out to be a delicious low sugar sweet dish.
