This is a simple chutney from Shireen Anwar, serve with snacks.

Ingredients

  • Dried plums 200 grams
  • water 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Melon seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red edible food color pinch

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak plums in 2 cups of water.

  2. Take a pan add sugar.

  3. Put half cup of water from the water that the dried plums have been soaking in to the sugar.,make sheera.

  4. When  sugar is melted add plums with 1 and half cup of water.

  5. Cook until desired thickness.

  6. In last add melon seeds, cardmom pwder, red edible food colour .

  7. Aloo bukhara chutney is ready to serve.
