Crostini is a kind of baked filled sandwich prepared by bread rounds and filled with cooked fish and prawn meat. Prepare for lunch box with tea or in lunch it will be great to have any time for everyone.

Ingredients

  • Prawn 150 gm
  • Fish fillet 150 gm
  • Green onion 1
  • Egg 1
  • Tomato 1 (seedless, chopped)
  • Green chili 3
  • Bread slice 6
  • Parsley ½ bunch (chopped)
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Butter 3 tbsp (melted)
  • Salt as required

Cooking Directions

  1. In a food processor chop together fish fillet, prawns, green onion, green chilies, salt, black pepper, parsley and tomato.

  2. Now keep this paste aside. Slice the crusts from the pieces of bread.

  3. Take 3 bread slices and cut from the middle using a round cutter.

  4. Beat an egg in a bowl.

  5. Brush the 3 whole bread slices with the beaten egg and place the other 3 cut bread slices on top of each whole bread.

  6. Fill the hollow with the minced fish mixture.

  7. Then brush again with melted butter.

  8. Arrange bread on a baking tray and bake briefly in an oven at 190C for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
