  • Skimmed Milk Cottage 300 gms
  • Cheese(Paneer) 1/2 inch cubes
  • Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Onions(chopped) 3 medium
  • Tomatoes(chopped) 3 medium
  • Ginger Paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder(optional) 2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • To serve:
  • Green Coriander Chutney 8 tsp
  • Onions(sliced) 2 medium

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix whole wheat flour and salt, add sufficient water and knead into a firm dough.

  2. Cover and rest the dough for about fifteen minutes.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan, add onions, tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and stir well to mix.

  4. Cook till everything blends well and the excess moisture has dried up.

  5. Stir in the limon juice, and take the pan off the heat.

  6. Add paneer cubes and mix lightly.

  7. Divide the filling into eight equal portions and set aside.

  8. Divide the dough into eight equal portions and roll into rotis.

  9. Heat a tawa and cook each roti till both sides are evenly cooked.

  10. Spread a teaspoonful of green coriander chutney over each roti.

  11. Place a portion of paneer mixture at one end.

  12. Sprinkle some sliced onions and roll up the roti.

  13. Wrap in aluminium foil and serve immediately.
