Ingredients

  • Beef 1/2 kg
  • Peanut oil 3 tbsps
  • Mushroom, sliced 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce 1/4 cup
  • Sesame oil 2 tbsps
  • Sugar 2 tbsps
  • Noodles 12 oz
  • Garlic cloves, minced 4
  • Onions, thinly sliced 4
  • Red chilli, small 1-3
  • Carrots, grated 2

Cooking Directions

  1. Slice beef thinly into pieces about 3-inches long (doing this while beef is partially forzen is best).

  2. Bring beef to room temperature.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together soya sauce, sesame oil and sugar until sugar dissolves, set aside until needes.

  4. Cook the noodles in boiling water about 8-10 minutes or until tender drain.

  5. While noodles are cooking, cook mushrooms in peanut oil in a small skillet until softened, them remove and drain away the liquid that collect.

  6. Add the garlic and onions to the skillet and cook on high for about 1 minute.

  7. Then add the carrot, beef and mushrooms.

  8. Cook the meat for 2-3 minutes but try not to overcook.

  9. Add the soya sauce mixture and cook for about 2 more minutes.

  10. Place noodles on a serving platter and top with beef mixture.

  11. Garnish with red chillies and serve.
