Prepare the syrup by boiling water, sugar and yellow color.

Let it simmer for some time. In a bowl, mix flour, gram
flour, baking soda, yellow color and water to make a thick
paste.

Heat oil in a pan. Place the batter in a cone made of
polythene bag, and make circles of the batter in the frying
pan.

When crisp, remove and dip in the sugar syrup.
