Turnips 3/4 kg
Onions 100 gms
Tomatoes 100 gms
Ginger 1" piece
Green chillies 2
Cloves of garlic 2
Salt to taste
Green coriander leaves
Ghee
Chop turnips into big pieces. Boil them in water till soft or pressure cook for 3 minutes.
Fry chopped onions, ginger, green chillies and garlic till golden brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and salt to taste.
Add 1 tsp. sugar if desired. Cook till the gravy is golden in colour and add turnips.
Cover and cook till ready.
