bullet Turnips 3/4 kg
bullet Onions 100 gms
bullet Tomatoes 100 gms
bullet Ginger 1" piece
bullet Green chillies 2
bullet Cloves of garlic 2
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Green coriander leaves
bullet Ghee
  • Chop turnips into big pieces. Boil them in water till soft or pressure cook for 3 minutes.
  • Fry chopped onions, ginger, green chillies and garlic till golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and salt to taste.
  • Add 1 tsp. sugar if desired. Cook till the gravy is golden in colour and add turnips.
  • Cover and cook till ready.
