bullet Peeled sliced raw mangoes (without seeds) 800 gms
bullet Salt (lahori) 100 gms
bullet Salt (sambhar) 150 gms
bullet Coriander 30 gms
bullet Cardamoms 2 tsps
bullet Cloves 1 tsp
bullet Mace 1 tsp
bullet Mint 30 gms
bullet Cinnamon 1 tsp
bullet Ginger 60 gms
bullet Almonds 60 gms
bullet Grated coconut 20 gms
bullet Blanched pistachios 20 gms
bullet Dry dates 100 gms
bullet Saffron 60 gms
bullet Ghee 2 tsps
bullet Sugar 1200 gms
  • Grind the sliced mangoes to a thick paste and keep aside. Now grind together all the other ingredients except sugar, into a fine paste also and fry lightly in ghee.
  • Make a syrup of sugar and when it is of two thread consistency, add the ground mangoes and masalas in it. Mix thoroughly.
  • When the chutney cools down, store in airtight jars.
