bullet Mutton (cut into pieces) 800 gms
bullet Turnips (cut into cubes) 300 gms
bullet Large onion (sliced) 1
bullet Cloves of garlic 4
bullet Red chillies 4
bullet Ginger 11/2“ piece
bullet Coriander powder 1 tsp
bullet Black pepper ¼ tsp
bullet Cloves 4
bullet Green chillies 2
bullet Curd 1/2 litre
bullet Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Saffron ghee a pinch
  • Fry the sliced onion in ghee and add ground garlic, red chillies, ginger, coriander, black pepper and cloves.
  • Add the meat pieces, diced vegetables, salt to taste and a pinch of saffron and turmeric powder.
  • Add slit green chillies and well beaten curd.
  • Add some water and simmer on flame till done.
