Mutton (cut into pieces) 800 gms
Turnips (cut into cubes) 300 gms
Large onion (sliced) 1
Cloves of garlic 4
Red chillies 4
Ginger 11/2“ piece
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
Cloves 4
Green chillies 2
Curd 1/2 litre
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Saffron ghee a pinch
Fry the sliced onion in ghee and add ground garlic, red chillies, ginger, coriander, black pepper and cloves.
Add the meat pieces, diced vegetables, salt to taste and a pinch of saffron and turmeric powder.
Add slit green chillies and well beaten curd.
Add some water and simmer on flame till done.
