bullet Minced meat ¼ kg
bullet Potatoes 1/2 kg
bullet Pepper ¼ tsp
bullet Green coriander 1/2 bunch
bullet Eggs 2
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Oil as needed
bullet Breadcrumbs

Grind:

bullet Spring onions 4
bullet Green chillies 2
bullet Cloves of garlic 4
bullet Ginger 1/2“ piece
bullet Coriander 1 tsp
  • Boil, peel and mash the potatoes. Add 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper and cornflour to it. Keep aside. Chop green coriander leaves.
  • Heat 3 tbsps. oil and fry the ground paste till golden. Add the minced meat and salt if needed and cook till uniformly brown.
  • Add enough water to make the meat tender and completely mixed with the masala. Keep aside to cool.
  • Make small balls of the mashed potatoes and flatten them with the palm one at a time. Put a little of the cooked meat in the centre of each.
  • Dip in very well beaten egg, press in breadcrumbs and lightly fry till uniformly brown.
