bullet Minced meat 1 kg
bullet Shelled peas 3/4 kg
bullet Curd (well beaten) 11/2 cups
bullet Green cardamoms 4
bullet Bay leaves 3
bullet Peppercorns 10
bullet Cloves 5
bullet Cinnamon sticks (crushed finely) 2"
bullet Ghee
bullet Salt to taste

Grind:

bullet Onion 400 gms
bullet Ginger 1" piece
bullet Red chillies 2
bullet Turmeric powder 1 tsp
bullet Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Heat 4 tbsps. ghee and fry the ground masala till golden brown in colour. Then add the minced meat and salt to taste.
  • Cover and cook, stirring occasionally so that the meat turns golden brown in colour. Keep adding a little water till the meat is properly cooked.
  • Add the peas, cover once again. When peas are tender, add well beaten curd and crushed garam masala.
  • Cook for another 10 minutes.
