bullet Chicken (cut into 2" pieces) 1 kg
bullet Milk 250 ml
bullet Water 300 ml
bullet Gram flour 6 tbsps
bullet Curd 6 tbsps
bullet Salt to taste

Crush finely:

bullet Pepper corns 6
bullet Red chillies 2
bullet Cinnamon 1" piece
bullet Cumin seeds 3/4 tsp
bullet Ginger 1" piece
bullet Cloves of garlic 2
bullet Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
bullet Nutmeg a pinch
  • Heat milk and water. Then add the chicken pieces, crushed masala and salt to taste.
  • Cover and cook till the masala and water gets absorbed, the chicken pieces are coated with the masalas and are tender.
  • Keep aside.
  • Make a batter of gram flour and curd with salt. Coat cooked chicken with this batter and deep fry till uniformly brown.
  • Garnish with finely sliced onions and fried cashewnuts.
