bullet Carrots 100 gms
bullet Beans 100 gms
bullet Shelled peas 100 gms
bullet Potatoes 200 gms
bullet Pumpkin (lauki) 50 gms
bullet Onions 200 gms
bullet Tomatoes 200 gms
bullet Ginger (cut finely) 2" piece
bullet Green chillies (chopped) 2-3
bullet Cloves of garlic (crushed) 2
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Green coriander leaves
bullet Turmeric powder 1 tsp
bullet Pao bhaji masala 2-3 tsps
bullet Butter 30 gms
bullet Sugar 1 tsp
  • Boil carrots, beans, potatoes and pumpkin, all cut fine.
  • Boil peas. When tender strain out the water.
  • Heat butter and fry the chopped onions till brown, and the ginger, green chillies and garlic.
  • Put in the chopped tomatoes and salt, turmeric powder and coriander leaves.
  • Keep stirring till butter leaves the masala, add the vegetables and pao bhaji masala.
  • Cook till well blended.
  • Serve with sliced bread which has been fried lightly in butter.
