Boil
dal in a vessel. Heat 1 tbsp. ghee, add cumin seeds, garlic,
asafoetida and boiled dal. Add cocum and turmeric powder and
add salt to taste. Sprinkle coriander leaves.
Mix
flour, salt, turmeric and chilli powder, asaofetida and a
little oil and make a dough with water. Knead well and roll
out like chappati.
Cut
into diamonds or square with knife and put them into the
boiling dal. When all the flour pieces are put, let the dal
boil for 25 minutes on low flame.
