Soak
the daIs for 4-5 hours. Then grind them finely and beat
well. Add salt, turmeric powder, ground ginger and green
chillies.
Steam
the dough like dhokla. Then break it into small pieces with
fingers. Heat oil and fry mustard seeds and cumin seeds,
asafoetida, chilli powder and curry leaves.
Add the
broken dal pieces in it and cook well. When ready, add the
sugar, lime juice; and remove.
Add
chopped coriander and grated coconut before serving.
