Cut and
wash the fish and apply salt and turmeric powder. The fish
should be in 1-2" long pieces.
Keep
the ground green chillies, turmeric powder and salt near the
gas flame as heat gives it a sharper taste. Mix this paste
with the fish pieces. Check seasoning.
Mix
grated coconut with ground mustard, chopped chillies,
turmeric powder and a little salt. Put this layer over the
fish.
Pour
raw mustard oil liberally over it.
Garnish
with a few slit green chillies and steam till tender.
