bullet Milk 4 litres
bullet Flour 550 gms
bullet Sugar 2 cups
bullet Cardamoms (take only seeds) 4
bullet Rose water 1 tsp
bullet Juice 1 lime
bullet Curd
  • Boil milk and add the juice of a lime to make it curdle and strain through a muslin cloth.
  • Knead it with the flour until smooth, make small balls, putting a little sugar and cardamom seeds inside each.
  • Simmer in boiling syrup made from sugar and water until the rasogullas rise to the top. Remove and sprinkle rose water on them.
  • The syrup must be kept very thin all the time and water should be added if it becomes too thick.
