bullet Chana dal 1 kg
bullet Flour (maida) 1/2 kg

Grind:

bullet Cuminseed 1 tsp
bullet Garam masala 1 tsp
bullet Chilli powder 1 tsp
bullet Ginger 1 cm piece
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Oil for frying
  • Knead the flour into a dough with enough oil, salt and water. Boil the dal with salt. Mash completely into a dry paste and add the ground ginger.
  • Cover small balls of the dal mixture with dough and roll carefully into rotis. Fry on a griddle with oil, on both sides keeping the rotis soft.
