bullet Eggs 6
bullet Big tomato (chopped) 1
bullet Onion (sliced) 1
bullet Garam masala 1/2 tsp
bullet Sugar 1/2 tsp
bullet Butter 21/2 tbsps
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Chopped coriander leaves

Grind:

bullet Big onion 1
bullet Cloves of garlic 4
bullet Ginger 1/2“ piece
bullet Green chillies 2
bullet Cumin seeds 1 tsp
bullet Coriander seeds 11/2 tsps
bullet Small coconut 1
bullet Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Poppy seeds 1 tsp
bullet Cinnamon 1 stick
bullet Cardamoms 2
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onion till golden brown. Add the ground masala, chopped tomatoes, sugar and salt to taste.
  • Fry till the oil separates. Make into four portions and keep aside one portion. In the 3/4 fried masala add 1 cup water and boil till almost ready.
  • Break the eggs gently on top and arrange on the masala. Add butter on top of the eggs and cover and cook on a low flame.
  • When the eggs are set, sprinkle of 1/4 the masala and cook for a few minutes.
  • Remove and garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
