Eggs 6
Big tomato (chopped) 1
Onion (sliced) 1
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Butter 21/2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Grind:
Big onion 1
Cloves of garlic 4
Ginger 1/2“ piece
Green chillies 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 11/2 tsps
Small coconut 1
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 stick
Cardamoms 2
Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onion till golden brown. Add the ground masala, chopped tomatoes, sugar and salt to taste.
Fry till the oil separates. Make into four portions and keep aside one portion. In the 3/4 fried masala add 1 cup water and boil till almost ready.
Break the eggs gently on top and arrange on the masala. Add butter on top of the eggs and cover and cook on a low flame.
When the eggs are set, sprinkle of 1/4 the masala and cook for a few minutes.
Remove and garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
