bullet Whole fish 1
bullet Parval 1/2 kg
bullet Red chillies 6
bullet Turmeric powder 1 tsp
bullet Atta 1 cup
bullet Onions 3
bullet Oil as needed
bullet Salt to taste
  • Apply 1/2 the quantity of the ground red chillies, turmeric powder and salt on the fish and leave for sometime.
  • Then boil the fish and remove all the bones. Grind onions and fry in oil till slightly browned. Add the flaked fish, remaining ground red chillies, turmeric powder, salt and a pinch of sugar.
  • Cook till fish is tender and dry. Cut out the top from the parvals and scoop out the insides.
  • Fill them with the fish mixture and seal with a little kneaded atta on top.
  • Fry stuffed parvals on a low flame till cooked.
