Make
paneer by boiling milk and adding lime juice. Strain curdled
milk through a muslin cloth to get hard paneer.
Add
semolina and 2 tsps. sugar to the paneer and mix thoroughly
like a soft paste. Add saffron. Divide the paneer into equal
portions and shape them into heart shapes.
Make a
one thread consistency sugar syrup and put the paneer hearts
into the syrup.
Cook
gently. Add the essence to the syrup. Boil 1/2 litre milk till
very thick and add sugar.
Pour
this creamy milk, flavoured with essence over the paneer
hearts, serve hot.
