Heat
ghee in a karahi and deep-fry the bread slices till a dark
golden. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper. Heat a shallow
frying pan. Mix the corn flour, cardamom and sugar with the
condensed milk and cook in the frying pan till it thickens.
Cut the
fried slices in the shape you prefer, rounds, squares etc
and spread the condensed milk mixture on each piece.
Sprinkle with chopped almonds. Serve as a dessert or with
tea. Maybe served warm or cold.
