A sweet and sour
relish that complements many dishes.
Dry mango
powder (amchur) 25 gm/5 tsp
Black pepper
powder 2.5 gm/ 1/2 tsp
Black salt,
powdered 2.5 gm/ 1/2 tsp
Garam masala
2.5 gm/ 1/2 tsp
Ginger powder
2.5 gm/ 1/2 tsp
Raisins 10
gm/2 tsp
Red chilli
powder 2.5 gm/ 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 75 gm/5

Clean
and wash the raisins. Keep aside. Mix all the remaining
ingredients with 100 ml water in a saucepan and cook gently
for 15 minutes. Ensure that no lumps remain and the sugar
has dissolved. Add raisins.

Cooking: 20 minutes
To
Serve: Remove and cool. Serve at room temperature.
