bullet Mint leaves 60 gm/ 1/4 cup
bullet Coriander leaves 120 gm/ 1/2 cup
bullet Cumin (jeera) seeds 5 gm/1 tsp
bullet Garlic cloves 2
bullet Green chilli 1
bullet Raw mango, chopped 30 gm/2 tbs
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Tomatoes, chopped 45 gm/3 tbs
  • Clean, wash and chop coriander and mint. Slit and deseed green chillies. Blend all ingredients in a food processor.
  • Note: As mint discoloures fast, the proportion of coriander must be kept high.
  • Time:
    Preparation: 20 minutes.
  • To Serve: Juice of 1 lemon may be added to make the chutney tart.
