bullet Mint (pudina) leaves 1 bunch
bullet Green coriander (hara dhaniya) 1/2 bunch
bullet Green chillies 4
bullet Garlic (lasan) 1 pod
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Sugar 1 tsp / 3 gm
bullet Tamarind (imli) paste 1 tsp / 3 gm

bullet juice of lemon (nimbu) 1
  • Grind the mint leaves, green coriander, green chillies, garlic, salt, and sugar to a smooth paste either on a stone slab or in a mixer. Add the tamarind paste or lemon juice, mix well and serve as an accompaniment.
  • Note: At different times of the year the pungency of chillies is different, so use your discretion and taste the chillies before putting them in them food.
