bullet Chicken, boneless cut into cubes 1 kg
bullet Tomatoes, finely chopped 4 medium
bullet Onions, cut into rings 2 large
bullet Green chillies, finely chopped 6
bullet Ginger / garlic paste 2 tsp
bullet Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Garam masala powder pinch
bullet Desi ghee or oil 7 tbsp
bullet Coriander and mint leaves, 2 tbsp, finely chopped
bullet Salt to taste
  • Heat ghee / oil in a saucepan, add chicken and cook on high heat till chicken is cooked and no liquid remains. Add ginger / garlic paste, fry for a minute. Then add tomatoes, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well on medium heat.
  • Keep stirring till tomatoes are cooked and oil separates from the chicken. Add green chillies, onion rings, black pepper and mint and coriander leaves. Fry on high heat for 2 minutes.
  • Cover and leave on very low heat for few minutes.
  • Garnish with mint and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with parathas.
