This rich tasty
chocolate cake with its white chocolate and almond filling is a
pure temptation. |

Pound Batter Dough
 |
100 g butter, |
 |
3 serving
spoons cooking oil, |
 |
300 g sugar, |
 |
150 g cooking
chocolate, |
 |
150 ml water
and |
 |
100 ml milk
pour all these ingredients into a saucepan and heat up
on a low fire until the sugar and chocolate have melted
(do not boil), then turn off the heat. |

250 g white
flour, |
 |
4 tablespoons
chocolate powder and |
 |
3 teaspoons
baking powder mix together and combine with the above
chocolate mixture |
 |
3 eggs add one
at a time and mix well. |
 |
Pour the dough
into the baking tin |
Filling
 |
200 g white
chocolate and |
 |
100 ml cream
heat up slowly in a heavy saucepan until chocolate has
melted |
 |
100 g almonds
peel and crush them, then add. |
 |
Cool the
filling slightly then spread over the lower cake half,
then place the other half on
top. |
Chocolate
Icing
 |
200 g cooking
chocolate and |
 |
200 ml cream
melt cream and chocolate over low heat and mix well.
Cool a little and pour over the top and the sides of the
cake. |

- Line a
springform of about 23 cm in diameter, with aluminium foil,
grease the lining and dust with flour. (See Note below)
Preheat the oven! Bake in medium hot oven for about 45
minutes, or until fully cooked when tested with a skewer.
Cool for 10 minutes then remove from the tin. When
completely cooled off, turn the cake upside down, then cut
it horizontally into two. Make the following filling:
- Filling:
Spoon some chocolate mixture into a pastry bag with a small
nozzle. Place the pastry bag into the refrigerator until the
chocolate has become thicker, then decorate the cake.
- Note:
If you use a springform, line it with foil right up to the
top of the rim in order to avoid the dough from leaking out
between the base and the rim.
