The combination of
orange and chocolate is delicious.
Biscuits Sponge Dough
150 g butter
225 g fine
sugar mix until creamy
5 egg yolks
add and continue mixing
2 serving
spoons of package yoghurt and
1 serving
spoon cream add to the mixture and beat until creamy
350 g flour
2 teaspoons
baking powder mix together and add to above mixture
Separate dough equally into 2 different bowls.
Orange Dough
2 oranges wash
and grate the peel
add peel and
juice to the dough and mix well
Chocolate
Dough
3 tablespoons
chocolate powder
2 tablespoons
milk add to the dough and mix well
5 egg whites
beat until stiff
3 tablespoons
fine sugar add and beat a little further
Line a
loaf tin measuring 28 cm, or the base of a springform, about
23 cm in diameter, with aluminium foil; grease the lining
and dust with t1our. Keep ready. Preheat the oven! Fold half
of the egg white into the chocolate dough and the other half
into the orange-flavoured dough. Spoon the orange mixture
into the cake tin and then the chocolate mixture over it.
Take a
fork and spiral through the dough in order to give it the
marble pattern. Bake in medium hot oven for approx 45
minutes, or until fully cooked when tested with a skewer.
Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the baking tin.
To give
the cake a shine, make a little sugar syrup by mixing I
tablespoon of sugar with 2 tablespoons of water, boil until
thick then brush over the cake.
