This tasty chocolate
cake is for all those who love chocolate and have little
experience in baking. |

Pound Batter Dough
 |
200 g butter
and |
 |
175 g fine
sugar mix until creamy |
 |
4 eggs add one
egg at a time, keep mixing |
 |
1- 2 drops
vanilla essence add and mix |
 |
3 tablespoons
chocolate powder sift and blend,

 |
200 g flour
and |
 |
2 teaspoons
baking powder sift, add to the mixture and combine. |

Spoon the
dough into the baking tin. |

- Line a
loaf tin, measuring 28 cm, or the base of a springform,
about 23 cm in diameter, with aluminium foil, slightly
grease the lining, and dust with flour. Keep ready! Preheat
the oven! Bake in medium hot oven for approx 50-60 minutes,
or until fully cooked when tested with a skewer. Cool for 10
minutes before removing from the baking tin. To give the
cake a shine, make a little sugar syrup by mixing 1
tablespoon of sugar with 2 tablespoons of water, boil until
thick then brush over the cake.
