bullet Flour (maida) 1 lb
bullet Sesame (til) seeds 2 tbsp
bullet Celery seeds 2 tsp
bullet Caraway seeds 2 tsp
bullet Coarsely ground peppercorns 2 tsp
bullet Onion 2 tsp (kalonji) seeds
bullet Ghee
bullet Salt 2 tsp or to taste
bullet Sugar 2 tsp or to taste
  • Sieve the flour and mix all the ingredients into it. Add enough warm water to knead to stiff dough. Rollout into tin round puris.
  • Heat ghee in a kerai and deep fry on both sides until crisp and golden brown.
