Flour (maida) 1 lb
Sesame (til) seeds 2 tbsp
Celery seeds 2 tsp
Caraway seeds 2 tsp
Coarsely ground peppercorns 2 tsp
Onion 2 tsp (kalonji) seeds
Ghee
Salt 2 tsp or to taste
Sugar 2 tsp or to taste
Sieve the flour and mix all the ingredients into it. Add enough warm water to knead to stiff dough. Rollout into tin round puris.
Heat ghee in a kerai and deep fry on both sides until crisp and golden brown.
