bullet Wholewheat flour (atta) 21/2 cups / 250 gm
bullet Salt 1 tsp / 4 gm
bullet Vegetable oil 1 tbsp / 15 ml
bullet Water 1/2 cup / 100 ml
bullet Butter to grease baking tray
  • Sift the flour and salt together. Mix in the oil and water; knead to make a soft dough. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough equally into 5 balls and dust with flour. Heat the oven to 175ºC; flatten the balls and roll each out to an 8” disc. Place the discs on a greased tray and bake for 3 minutes till pale brown in colour. Serve hot.

    Preparation time: 40 min.
    Cooking time: 6 min.
