bullet 1 kg mince beef
bullet 11/2 tsp each ginger and garlic paste
bullet 11/2 tsp cumin seed powder
bullet 2 tsp chilli powder
bullet 8-10 long green chillies, finely chopped
bullet 1 bunch fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
bullet 1 bunch fresh mint, finely chopped
bullet 4 eggs
bullet 4-5 slices of bread soaked in water, squeezed dry
225 g bread crumbs
bullet 1/4 tsp turmeric
bullet 1/4 tsp garam masala
bullet Salt to taste
  • Marinate mince with all ingredients overnight, except the eggs and bread crumbs.
  • From 3 inch round cutlets, 1/4 inch thick and coat in breadcrumbs. Keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Beat 2 eggs until frothy. Dip each cutlet into the egg mixture and fry on slow to medium heat till light brown.
  • Sprinkle water on the cutlet and on its edges to give a lacy effect.
  • Serve immediately.
