Beef (undercut) 1 kg (Cut into small pieces)

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander (whole) 1 tbsp

Fenugreek (grinded) 1 tsp

Red chilies powder 1/2 tsp

Rice powder 1 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Oil 2 tbsp

Ginger (thinly cut) 3 only

Ginger crushed 3 tsp

Garlic crushed 3 tsp

Darchini (cinnamon) 1 inch piece

Brown vinegar 1/3 cup

Beef yaqni 1/2 cups

Salt and pepper to taste

  • Grind together cumin, coriander, cardamom, fenugreek, red chilies and turmeric. Heat oil and fry beef in it. Then take it out in a bowl. In the same pan add onion, garlic, ginger. When onion turns brown then add in it beef with masalas from the bowl. Also add I this vinegar, yaqni, sugar, salt, black pepper and cook with lid covered until beef is tender. Stir-fry until oil floats on top. Decorate this with paper and serve with rice.

  • Note: Instead of yaqni you can also use beef stock available in market.
