  • In layman’s language, cleaners are liquid that we use to clean our household items. Many cleaners are available in the market but one should refrain from buying readymade cleaners because they may have harmful chemicals which can damage your skin while cleaning. To be on the safe side, make cleaners for your items on your own. Most of the time we want cleaners for cleaning marbles, granites and steel items, so you can prepare cleaners for these by following homemade recipes.

  • Marble Cleaner:

  • Marble cleaners are very much in demand these days because marble tiling and marble baths are becoming more and more common. You can make your marble cleaner at home by just doing following as it is the easiest one.

  • • Take a soft sponge/loofa/scrubber; dip it in hot water and use on your marbles. Don’t scrub the cloth too much on marble as it can mark scratches on marble.

  • If there is a stain on your marble then you can use baking soda to smear it off. You can also use marble cleaners twice a week to keep your marble neat and clean.

  • Cleaners for granite:

  • Adopt the following phlegmatic steps to make the cleaner for cleaning your granite made items.

  • 1. Take a medium size bowl and add ¼ cup of alcohol and add some drops of dish cleansing agent in it.
    2. Add 1 1/2 cups of water and mix it well.
    3. Now add one tea spoon of laundry detergent (and your granite cleaner is ready.)
    4. Mixture of cleaner is ready. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use it on granite items.

  • How to apply

  • You just need a wet cloth for applying. Smidgen some cleaner on the required surface or item and wipe it off with the wet cloth. You can use this cleaner on granite items once a week. One thing that you must keep in mind is that never add vinegar or lemon in cleaners for granite, as these are not good for granite.

  • Cleaner for Stainless Steel:

  • Stainless steel items are a bit problematic to maintain. You can follow the following steps for the cleaning of stainless steel.

  • 1. Take a spray water bottle fill it with warm water
    2. Now add a few drops of washing detergent in it.
    3. Shake it well and use on desired items.

  • Another excellent method for cleaning stainless steel is:

  • 1. Sprinkle some drops of vinegar on desired item and clean it off with the help of a wet cloth. You can also use vegetable oil instead of vinegar.

  • Cleaners for stainless steel can be used more often say three to four times a week to keep your items clean. You can use the above two cleaners on utensils as well as on stainless appliances.

  • Try these easy-to-make cleaners and keep your home clean as much as possible. Cleanliness also keeps you hale and hearty and it is half of our faith.
