Sliced Chicken with Capsicums Recipe

bullet Chicken, boneless, sliced 1/2 kg
bullet Green chillies, sliced 4
bullet Ginger / garlic paste 2 tsp
bullet Capsicums, cut into slices 1/2 kg
bullet Spring onions, finely chopped 2
bullet Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp
bullet Chicken stock or boiling water 2 1/2 cups
bullet Cornflour powder, mixed in water 2 1/2 tbsp
bullet Oil 3 tbsp
bullet Chinese salt 1/4 tsp, optional
bullet Salt to taste
  • Mix green chillies, ginger 1 garlic paste, salts and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Add chicken, and marinate for an hour.
  • Heat oil and fry the marinated chicken on high heat till it changes colour. Add the vegetables and stir, pour in the chicken stock or boiling water and stir till the liquid boils again.
  • Add cornflour and stir till the sauce thickens. Remove chicken from heat.
  • Serve with spicy lemon rice.
