Wash
the chicken and pat dry. Rub with salt and marinate with
black pepper and chilli powder for 30-60 minutes.
Mix the
ingredients for sauce. Lay the chicken in an ovenproof dish.
Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces ensuring that all the
pieces are covered. Dot with butter. Cover with a lid or
foil.
Bake in
the oven at gas mark 4/180º C for 1 – 11/2 hour. Serve with
baked potatoes and sour cream or potatoes in parsley butter.
