Chicken, cut
into small cubes 1 kg |

Yogurt 1 cup

Almonds, whole

Garam masala
powder 1 tsp |

ghee 3 tbsp |

Ingredients for gravy
 |
Onions, finely
chopped 5 medium |
 |
Tomatoes,
finely chopped 5 medium |
 |
Green chillies,
finely chopped 4 |
 |
Chilli powder
1 tsp |
 |
Coriander
powder 1/2 tsp |
 |
Oil or desi
ghee 3 tbsp |

- Mix
yogurt, green chillies, almonds, ginger and garlic and grind
finely. Combine yogurt mixture with chicken, salt, butter
and garam masala powder and leave for 2 hours. Heat ghee or
oil, add marinated chicken and fry on medium heat, cover the
saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes till chicken is tender
and cooked.

Gravy: Heat ghee or oil and fry onions till golden
brown. Add green chillies, tomatoes and other spices. Fry
till tomatoes becomes soft and cooked. Add this gravy to the
cooked chicken, mix well and add some water. Cover the
saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes, till oil separates from
gravy.
- Serve
with naan or paratha.
