bullet Chicken 1 1/2 kg
bullet yogurt 1 cup
bullet Lemon juice 4 tbsp
bullet Red chili 1 large size, cut into small piece
bullet Green chili 1, cut into small pieces
bullet Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
bullet Black peppercorns 12 ground
bullet Saffron 1 pinch soak in two tbsp of hot water
bullet Margarine 1 tbsp
bullet Potatoes 4 boiled and mashed
bullet Green peas (steamed) 1 cup
bullet Carrots 4 cut into small cubes
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Cooking oil 1 tbsp

Decoration

bullet Sugar 1 tsp
bullet Honey 1 tsp
bullet Orange peel 1 cup
  • Wash the chicken and make cuts in it. Marinate it with lemon juice, garlic and ginger and keep for an hour. Then stuff into the chicken; the potatoes, carrots, green peas, salt, black pepper and margarine, and tie it with a thread.
  • Mix all the other ingredients with saffron and pour on the chicken. Steam for a few minutes; when water starts drying, fry in Dalda oil or bake for 15 minutes. Cook orange peel with sugar and honey and form a thick paste, then pour on to the chicken.
